Nothing but positive vibes at this month's edition of Groove Candy! We shook off the cold and quickly warmed up to one too many at the open rum punch bar! 'Tanya Morgan' MC Donwill, DJ Cipha Sounds and DJ BenHaMeen created an old school basement party vibe spinning 90's classics.
Look out for the next event in February! This is quickly becoming one of the most popular after-work events in NYC!

Shearling coats are not only trendy but very warm as well. You can wear a Shearling coat with a long maxi skirt to dress it up or some jeans and sneakers for a more casual look.
Here is how I wore mine that I scored from Express on clearance for $40 almost 5 years ago.
You can find these coats at your local
Forever 21, Banana Republic, and H&M!
It's Friday night, after-work and you want a drink. A real drink. Not some fruity, tropical, sunrise breeze thing. But a drink! When I want to enjoy a few Jameson and beers with the boys, this is the go-to spot. This is more of a throwback, old New York bar so you’re not going to get the glitz and glam. There won’t be a DJ in the back. There’s not going to be any food. But what you are going to get are the following three things: A relaxed space to hang out with your friends, dirt cheap prices, and straight-up drinks.

The dirt cheap prices start at happy hour - every day of the week. Prices don’t get much cheaper than this — $2.50 well drinks; $3.50 drafts beers; $3 call drinks. Every weekday, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., and weekends 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Hard to beat in NYC! Perfect if you're looking for a reliable pre-game location.
It's also one of the few bars you can score some decent brews like Captain Lawrence and Allagash along with a few local beers like Brooklyn Lager.

This is a great, laid-back bar. It's a dive bar so again don't go in expecting anything fancy. Start your night here and you won't regret it. And remember, Cash Only
