Family Day @ Governors Island

Governors Island, July 18 from 11 AM to 4 PM. Play across the generations . . . and across time!

Come Out & Play Family Day offers games designed specifically for families and children of all ages, brought to the festival by ESI Design, one of the world’s foremost experience design firms. All of the games connect together with a fun story line about Time Travel — complete with an official Time Travel Agency, games throughout time, a growing timeline, and imminent threats to the space-time continuum! Play just one or two games, or try them all of for an epic Time Travel adventure. Games are suitable for everyone, especially ages 6 to 11. Guardians must co-sign waivers for any player under 18 years of age. All games will run multiple times, so you’ll be able to play no matter whether you come early or late — or travel from the past or the future. Family Day is free and open to the public.

Family Day will be spread across the Parade Grounds on Governors Island. Come to the festival HQ tent on the Parade Grounds to sign up and start playing.

To get to Governors Island, you can catch a ferry from Lower Manhattan or Brooklyn Bridge Park. Check out the ferry schedule for more details.
